The Coordinator of Teenagers and Young Adult Ministry is called to faithfully serve the younger generation, acting as an instrument through which God promotes spiritual growth, character formation, and deep rootedness in the truth of the Gospel.
Given that the current adolescents and young adults function as two distinct groups, the role involves both specific ministry to each group and the gradual building of cohesion between them, so that young people come to see themselves as part of one spiritual family within the church.
This ministry is carried out in submission to the authority of Scripture, in dependence on God’s grace, and with a long-term vision of forming steadfast disciples of Christ.
